Introducing the new Chordette Series

Working hard and thinking somewhat out of the box Chord Electronics have brought us a bundle of brand new treats. 

Your music be it digitally stored in a music server, PC, MAC, iPhone, iPod, laptop, or even simple streaming, the new 'Chordette Series' of kit from Chord Electronics has an wonderful selection of choices which will allow you to enjoy your collection with amazing fidelity.

 

 

The Gem (£420)- A Bluetooth DAC now with APT-X to get even more from your files, along with the ability to wire a USB cable to allow use straight from a laptop.

The Mogul (£2195)- A clever high performance micro Sized computer, allowing you to steam video & audio, to one or more displays.

The Prime (£1495) - The systems pre-amplifier, the control centre for your Chordette system. Up to four sources can be connected via the analog inputs & USB connection allows direct digital connection to a PC. The USB input will not only playback music but will also allow you to record the audio from any of the analog input, and assist in controlling other units.

The Dual (£800) Is a sophisticated phono preamp, with a clever filtering system. to remove low frequency rumblings, this also has a USB port which allows you make a connection to your computer to create a digital copy for your very own musical archive.

The Peach (£800)- A smart adaptable D/A Convertor, which can work alone or can be matched up with is pint sized brother the Prime, to do the duties of input selection. Just add this to a older CD player and hear the difference.

The Toucan (£800)- A headphone amplifier with Balanced XLR inputs RCA's and even a USB input.

The Scamp (£800)- A Micro sized power amplifier that packs a lot of punch for its scale at 40w Stereo, and can be switched to mono use for even more power from its petite case.

As with all Chord equipment they have a fantastic looking stand (£500) to house the equipment, which can be bought shelf by shelf so as your system evolves your equipment stand comes along.

The VSX-LX53 incorporates a significant jump in quality along with the feature list from its little brother (the VSX-920) the LX53 includes THX certification & 2 x HDMI outputs for connecting to say a plasma screen and a projector simultaneously along with Bluetooth audio.
